1 Peter 2:4-5 Ministries was born out of a deep conviction that every person is a precious living stone in God's sight — chosen, valued, and essential to the spiritual house He is building. Rooted in the rural heart of Parkhill, Ontario, our ministry was founded by a group of dedicated believers who recognized a profound need for both spiritual nourishment and practical support within their community.
Inspired by the apostle Peter's powerful metaphor of "living stones," our founders envisioned a ministry that would go beyond the walls of a traditional church building. They imagined a community where faith would be put into action — where the love of Christ would be demonstrated not only through worship and teaching, but through tangible acts of compassion, welfare assistance, and genuine fellowship.
Since our establishment, we have grown from a small prayer group into a vibrant ministry that serves hundreds of individuals and families across Parkhill and the surrounding communities of North Middlesex. From weekly Bible studies and youth programs to community food drives and visitation ministries, every initiative is guided by our foundational scripture and our unwavering commitment to building up people as living stones in God's spiritual house.
As a registered Canadian charity (BN: 805830577RR0001), we operate with full transparency and accountability, ensuring that every resource entrusted to us is used wisely and faithfully in service of our mission.
To serve as living stones in Parkhill and surrounding communities, providing spiritual nourishment, practical welfare support, and compassionate outreach. We seek to build up individuals and families through the transformative love of Jesus Christ, creating a spiritual house where every person is valued, supported, and empowered to fulfill their God-given purpose.
A thriving community where every person experiences the love of Christ through tangible acts of service and genuine fellowship. We envision a Parkhill — and a world beyond — where living stones are built up together in unity, compassion, and purpose, forming a spiritual house that radiates God's hope, peace, and transformative grace to all who seek it.
These foundational principles guide everything we do at 1 Peter 2:4-5 Ministries.
Grounded in Scripture and centered on Christ, our faith is the cornerstone of all our ministry endeavors. We trust in God's sovereign plan and His power to transform lives.
We extend Christ's love to every person we encounter, meeting them where they are with empathy, kindness, and practical care — without judgment or condition.
Like living stones built together, we believe in the power of authentic community. We cultivate genuine relationships that support, encourage, and uplift one another.
Following Christ's example of servant leadership, we dedicate ourselves to meeting both spiritual and practical needs in our community through selfless, joyful service.
Our ministry is led by a team of dedicated servants who share a deep passion for building community and serving Christ through practical ministry. Each leader brings unique gifts and experiences to the table, unified by a common commitment to the Living Stones vision.
Our leadership team includes pastors, elders, ministry coordinators, and devoted volunteers who oversee our various programs and initiatives. Together, they ensure that every aspect of our ministry aligns with our scriptural foundation and serves the real needs of our community.
We believe in the priesthood of all believers — that every member of our community has a vital role to play in building up the spiritual house. Our leadership structure is designed to equip, encourage, and empower every living stone to serve according to their God-given gifts.
We believe in full transparency and faithful stewardship of every resource entrusted to us.
