Community Outreach

Living Stones in the Community

At 1 Peter 2:4-5 Ministries, outreach is not just an activity — it is an expression of who we are. Inspired by our foundational scripture, we believe that as living stones, we are called to be actively built up together in service to our community. Each person contributes to the whole, and together we form a spiritual house that radiates God's love, compassion, and practical care throughout Parkhill and the surrounding Middlesex County region.

Our outreach initiatives are designed to address the real needs of our neighbors — from providing essential provisions to fostering mental wellness and creating spaces where community bonds can flourish. We work hand-in-hand with local organizations, municipal services, and fellow churches to maximize our impact and ensure that no one in our community is overlooked or forgotten.

Our Outreach Programs

Making a tangible difference through faith-driven action.

🍞

Food & Essentials Assistance

We organize seasonal food drives, partner with local food banks, and provide emergency assistance to families facing food insecurity. Our food programs ensure that nutritious meals and essential household items reach those who need them most, particularly during the challenging winter months and holiday seasons.

💚

Community Wellness

Recognizing that wellness encompasses body, mind, and spirit, we raise awareness about mental health resources, connect families with Middlesex County community services, and facilitate access to Parkhill EarlyON programs for young families. We believe in caring for the whole person.

🎉

Seasonal Outreach Events

Throughout the year, we host community-building events that bring people together. From back-to-school supply distributions and spring cleanup days to winter warming programs and community holiday meals, our seasonal events create meaningful touchpoints with our neighbors.

🤝

Partnership & Collaboration

We recognize that lasting community transformation requires collaboration. We actively partner with fellow churches, the Municipality of North Middlesex, local social service agencies, and community organizations to coordinate resources, share expertise, and multiply our collective impact.
